Administration of Justice - Who metered out the extreme penalties of Tasmanian Courts
From 1806 until 1946 some 545 men and four women suffered the Extreme Penalty of the Law in Van Diemen's Land / Tasmania. This talk does contain some grim information and examines the lives of persons who were involved with or carried out these sentences.
