The Irish Interest Group provides advice and assistance for Queensland Family History Society (QFHS) members who are researching their Irish families.
The availability of and access to Irish records has improved dramatically in recent years, so now is an ideal time to begin or revisit your Irish family history research.
Our meetings include talks and presentations on Irish resources, research techniques, and Ireland’s history and culture.
Members also have an opportunity to discuss their research progress and successes, and to use the knowledge and skills within the group to help each other explore and solve research challenges.
The group meets on the second Saturday in February, April, June, August, and October between 10.30 am and 12.30pm
