How to research your family tree in the Covid-19 era without leaving WA.

A 3 day event at the State Library of WA presented by FamilyHistoryWA.

Starting Your Family History: On Tuesday, discover how to start researching your family tree and organise the records accumulated on your journey.

On Your Way: Wednesday will introduce you to the resources available at the State Library of WA in the city and FamilyHistoryWA in Bayswater. In the afternoon learn to use DNA technology to find out more about your family.

Discovering Hidden Gems: Thursday is about more focussed research. While concentrating on Irish, Germanic and West Australian research, these session will teach you skills to research in many different countries.

Every day, there will be time to go to the Genie Centre on the third floor and talk to FHWA’s state library volunteers who will be available to help you with your questions.
