This presentation is one of a series of events being held in conjunction with Family History ACT Heritage Matters Exhibition.
This 40-50 minute presentation will provide a broad introduction to family history and how to get started. The session will also provide an overview of some of the ways that local family history societies can help with a particular focus on Family History ACT. These include library resources, special interest groups, training opportunities and the writing competition.
Presenter is Rosemary McKenzie. Opportunity will be available to ask questions and talk about the presentation and/or aspects of the exhibition.
The presentation will be held at ACT Heritage Library, 255 Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick, ACT.
