Dirk is the chairman of the Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft genealogischer Verbände (DAGV), the umbrella organisation of genealogical and heraldic associations in Germany, member of the International German Genealogy Partnership (IGGP) Executive Transition Team, and an admitted member of the Académie Internationale de Généalogie (AIG).
Andrea’s professional genealogical company Beyond History is based in Hamburg. Her team focuses on German emigration and German Jewish research, military and personal records of WWI and WWII, as well as genealogy research in all of Germany and its former provinces. You may recognize her from ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ episodes with Maggie Beer, Ben Mendelsohn and Geoffrey Rush.
